A Friend of Mine Kennel is pleased to announce our new training services instructed by Go Grreen Dog.  We offer many different training courses for you & your four legged friend! We use positive reinforcement techniques along with experience in all aspects of animal training & behavior to find the best way for you to understand & train your best bud. Below are descriptions of the group classes we offer. Unless otherwise indicated, each course is 6 weeks long meeting once a week for an hour each class. The “Drop-In” classes are randomly scheduled & are charged per class. 

 

This basic obedience class is for dogs & puppies with little or no previous education. In this course you will learn sit, down, stay, proper leash walking, potty training, & other basics every pup should know!

 

Cost: $89.00

 

This course is for dogs who have taken the beginner course or have comparable skills. In this course you will learn how to do advanced stays, heeling, & how to properly deal with everyday distractions.

Advanced 

 

This course is for dogs who have taken beginner & intermediate courses or have comparable skills. In this course you will learn how to prepare your dogs for the Canine Good Citizenship award which includes such requirements as sitting politely for petting, coming when called, accepting a friendly stranger & more.

“Just for Fun” agility

 

Agility training that is just for fun to help drain your canine's extra energy & further increase your bond with your pup!

 

Cost: $89.00 

Therapy Dog training 

 

This training is to help prepare your dog to go into nursing homes, schools, etc. Also a great way to show off all your pup's skills even more!

 

Cost: $89.00 

 

A "just for fun" class to learn a new way to have fun & boogey down with your pup. You will learn basic dance moves & how to make your own choreographed dance!

 

Cost: $89.00 

 

Another “just for fun” class where we will be practicing all aspects of training using repetition, consistency & positive reinforcement to help these skills get "locked in” for life!

 

Cost: $12 per class, per dog

 

Socialization Sessions 

 

Learn how to help your pup properly socialize with other dogs to prevent any future dominance or aggression & have fun! This is a great class for puppies to learn early in life to interact with other dogs properly.

 

Cost: $10/dog/hour 

 

 We offer several one day, one hour seminars available to help educate new & old dog owners on common problems such as potty training, aggression, socialization ,crate training, & more.

 

Cost: $19 per class
